Kennet's parents Susanna and Poul came for a visit this past weekend. Elsa likes to call them Nona (Italian for Grandma) and Far Far (Danish for Father's Father). We had a great weekend! Kennet and I both took Friday off to make it a longer weekend and really enjoyed the visit! We started the weekend at one of our favorite places, Rockwood Bakery for coffee and pastry. We took Elsa for a set of professional pictures on Friday that turned out pretty adorable in our opinions! We also took in Barrister Winery in Spokane (we highly recommend it) and a great gourmet cheese shop. Kennet cooked a fabulous dinner for all of us that night. Saturday was touring around Spokane a little as well as a beautiful walk through Riverfront Park and taking in the falls of the Spokane River downtown. We spent a lot of time catching up, taking pictures, and playing with Elsa! It was a relaxing weekend and we really enjoyed it! Thanks Poul and Susanna for the books, blocks, and train for Elsa!
